Rita believed it was always the right thing to do, working for herself since childhood. She convinced her husband Mr. Duah on the least oppotunity she came across, to establish an African Market in the borough of the Bronx. She expanded by openning a new and bigger facility at hunts point, where they supply most mini African markets all over New York and other neighbouring States.

AB African market is a soul supplier of African, Carribean and Spanish food stuff. It is also the largest supplier of Holland fabric for the African comminity.
